At La Fattoria, some dishes become part of who we are — and chisciol has been at the centre of our table for over ten years. Lucy was first introduced to chisciol here in Perth during her university days, through a close friend whose family originates from the Valtellina region in northern Italy. After classes, they would return to her friend’s home, where chisciol was made and shared as a simple, comforting snack. Over time, that memory found its place at La Fattoria, where chisciol has become our signature first course—served at the beginning of our Nonna’s Family Table, just as it was all those years ago. Join Lucy as she demonstrates how chisciol is made, from batter to pan, while you enjoy a glass of La Fattoria’s Aged Sparkling. You’ll also take home your very own Chisciol Starter Kit!
